The Turkish team's coach, Senol Günes, has left the Spanish target man out of his preseason squad

Besiktas head coach, Senol Günes, hasn't included Spanish striker Alvaro Negredo in his plans for next season. In fact, he hasn't even added Negredo to the team's preseason training camp in Slovakia.

This is what Günes decided at a press conference last Friday. Besiktas have told the player's agent, Juanma Lopez, and he is now looking for a new team for his client.

Besiktas paid Valencia €2.5m for the now 32-year-old last summer. Negredo earns €4.3m per season and has scored seven goals and provided six assists in 31 matches.

Although the striker still has a year left on his existing deal, Besiktas' economic problems are forcing them to sell Negredo in order to balance their accounts ahead of next season.
