Jose Mourinho will appear in a Madrid court on November 3 accused of tax fraud totalling 3.3 million euros.
The Manchester United manager, sources have confirmed to EFE, is due to appear at 10am, just two days before his side's Premier League game against Chelsea.
The charges against to Mourinho relate to earning on his image rights during his time in charge of Real Madrid.
Mourinho's accused of defrauding the Spanish tax office of 1.6 million euros in 2011 and 1.7 million euros in 2012.
The Portuguese is one of several high profile names from the football world to be caught up with the Spanish tax office.
Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Javier Mascherano, Xabi Alonso and several others have all encountered problems, too.
