Angel María Villar, Juan Padrón and Ramón Hernández will follow him

The judge will decide whether to imprison the four, release them or place them on bail

Gorka Villar, son of the Spanish Royal Football Federation President (RFEF), Ángel María Villar, is the first of the four people arrested in operation “Soule” to declare before a judge at the National Court.

Sources have confirmed that he was the first to appear before the judge, who will decide whether to imprison the four, release them or place them on bail, one day after the four exercised their right not to make a statement to the Guardia Civil.

The other people arrested who must appear before the judge today are Ángel María Villar, the Vice-President of the RFEF and President of the Tenerife federation, Juan Padrón, and the secretary of the Tenerife federation, Ramón Hernández.

The investigation focussed on the alleged payment of commissions for friendlies involving the Spanish national team and other commercial relationships benefiting Gorka Villar.
