Yerry Mina will not mark Lionel Messi in Argentina vs Colombia
The Colombian centre-back has not travelled to Argentina after picking up an injury in the match against Chile
Colombia centre-back Yerry Mina, whom Barcelona want to sign, will not line up for his country against Lionel Messi and Argentina on Tuesday night in the World Cup 2018 qualifying clash.
Yerry Mina has not gone to Argentina with the rest of his team-mates after Jose Pekerman's man suffered a muscle injury in the 0-0 draw against Chile.
Mina scored a goal in the recent game against Uruguay in October, a game in which he was marking Luis Suarez in.
Unfortunately his injury won't let him face off against Messi, who may turn out to be a future team-mate in Barcelona.
Argentina need to win to get their campaign back on the rails after being battered 3-0 by Brazil.
