Pique gets drawn into the euphoria surrounding Northern Ireland's Will Grigg

Gerard Pique has been unable to resist the fandom surrounding Will Grigg and is the latest to add his name to the continuously growing list of the striker's supporters.

Grigg has been the revelation of Euro 2016 with his name being chanted in nearly every host city across France. Unfortunately, the 24-year-old wasn't picked by Michael O'Neill and failed to appear in any of Northern Ireland's games as the Green and Whites' campaign was ended after being beaten by Wales 1-0 on Saturday in the round of 16.

Pique took to Twitter to convey his thoughts about the phenomenon, saying: "Northern Ireland eliminated from the Euros. We'll always have Will Grigg's on fire!"

But it's not only been the Barça defender who's been gripped by 'Grigg fever', Eric Cantona went one step further recently and surprised everyone with a video rendition of the now famous chant of "Will Grigg's on fire", causing plenty of reaction on social media.
