The young player picked Cristiano Ronaldo as his favourite player despite this

Although his father, Patrick Kluivert is now PSG¿s sporting director, Justin has not forgotten his Blaugrana past

Justin Kluivert made his debut for Ajax’s first team last Sunday. At 17 years old he is one of the most promising talents of their academy and in an interview with goal.com he revealed his dream.

Although his father, Patrick Kluivert is now PSG’s sporting director, Justin has not forgotten his Blaugrana past and his desire is to one day play at Camp Nou.

“My dream club is Barcelona, but English football is very good too. I like the Premier League a lot as a competition, I would like to play there,” he said.

When asked about his long-term future, he said: “Where do I see myself in seven years? At Barcelona of course. But before that I would like to play in England too, if it’s possible.

“I have not spoken with my father about a move to PSG. Of course we have joked about it but it doesn’t go further than that.”

However he also added: “The player I admire most is Cristiano Ronaldo. Not just for his qualities, which are very obvious, but for the way he lives, what he eats and how he trains. His work ethic is a good example for me.”
