Cesc Fabregas could leave Chelsea and join Real Madrid

Cesc Fabregas is seriously contemplating whether to leave Chelsea with his next possible list of destinations including Real Madrid, the eternal rival of his former club Barcelona.

As already confirmed by SPORT, representatives of the 29-year-old contacted Real president Florentino Perez directly to instigate talks about a potential move for the midfielder to the Spanish capital.

The situation at Stamford Bridge isn't promising and new Blues coach Antonio Conte has already shown his cards by benching Fabregas for the opening Premier League fixture against West Ham United on Monday, instead favouring Nemanja Matic and new signing N'Golo Kante.

Fabregas' proposed transfer to Juventus has been ruled out for now but the scenario of him joining Real is becoming a serious possibility and would strengthen the European champions ahead of their FIFA transfer sanction being potentially re-imposed.
