The aeroplane that crashed in Colombia, in which Brazilian team Chapecoense were travelling in, has been used by the Argentine national team before. According to information in Argentina, the same plane was used by Lionel Messi and Co for one of their trips in the South American World Cup qualifiers.
The Lamia BAE-146 was used 20 days ago when Argentina flew to Brazil for their 3-0 defeat by Neymar’s side.
It is currently estimated that between 25-27 people died in the tragic accident.
There were 72 passengers and eight crew members on board the flight.
