The question from SPORT which Luis Enrique did not like
The coach was annoyed after letting two points get away against Real Madrid
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique was visibly affected by his side’s 1-1 draw in the Clasico, which had the taste of a defeat after Real Madrid’s late goal.
Maybe for that reason the Barça coach wasn’t keen to answer questions in his post game press conference.
As an example of this, a question put to Luis Enrique by SPORT was knocked back.
The question was: “Did you lack a bigger presence in the middle of the pitch in the game?”
And his response: “I don’t have the enthusiasm to answer questions like that.
“You wouldn’t have asked me that if the game had ended in the 89th minute [before Ramos’s goal], but it ended in the 91st.”
Luis Enrique didn’t feel football was fair with his side, but despite that admitted they need to improve, especially at home.
Barça are six points back from Madrid in the standings, second in the table.
