'Seguiment FCB' complain about tourists, tickets and atmosphere at Clasico

There was a long list of complaints from the supporters group after Barça's draw with Real Madrid

Barcelona supporters movement 'Seguiment FCB' have released a statement expressing their "disgust and concern for the atmosphere at Camp Nou during the Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid."

'Seguiment FCB', a collection of more than 200 club members, were close to achieving enough signatures to enter a candidate into the 2015 presidency elections at the Catalan club.

In their statement that add that "despite having counted on two uplifting elements in the spectacular mosaic and the singing section, the atmosphere was totally distorted by the massive presence of tourists in all sectors of the stadium, several of which were completely unconcerned by the development of the gamre.

"However, the most disturbing thing is that some of them exhibited without disdain their sympathy for [Real Madrid] with shirts, scarves and hats. Their screaming and their gestures at the time of the equaliser ended up creating a climate of unusual tension in a duel of these dimensions.

"Barça fans have already had to face a similar situation in Champions League gams against English teams, but the fact that this problem has been reproduced against the eternal rival crosses the red line."

'Seguiment FCB' "request a deep reflection on the process of ticket sales and the management of season tickets for games between Barcelona and Real Madrid. That the club offer reduced prices at an earlier date to club members who don't have season tickets, first of all, and to the supporters clubs and, secondly, that tourist packages are sold as the last option.

"Likewise, we demand strict control of the symbols which can be displayed within the stadium and a more relentless position against the resale of tickets.

"A club like ours cannot be a business for third parties and all the benefits of a Clasico have to be to Barça's economic position. Our association is assessing what other concrete actions it can take to combat  the denaturalisation of Camp Nou but, to begin with, we urge the use of #RecuperemelCampNou on social media."
