The Clasico is a global game and a lot of big names were at the Camp Nou to watch it. One of those was Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who played for the Reds for 17 years before heading to MLS to play for the LA Galaxy, where he spent two years.

He was good friends with Luis Suarez at Liverpool, the current Barcelona striker, and that's how he came to the game on Saturday. Suarez sorted out tickets for him and two nephews, whom Gerrard had clearly got kitted out with the Barcelona training gear and caps.

Gerrard was one of 98,485 privileged people following the game live. Although the kids could not enjoy a Barcelona triumph, Gerrard got to see his old pal score Barcelona's goal. He thanked him on Instagram for the day.
