Karim Benzema unhappy he's always taken off

Karim Benzema was not impressed with Rafa Benitez's decision to take him off during the Madrid derby.

The French striker scored Madrid's goal in the ninth minute with a good header, but was withdrawn for Mateo Kovacic in the second half. 

Asked about Benitez frequently substituting him, Benzema said: "This is true. Ask the coach, I don't know. 

"I'm going to keep working hard so he doesn't change me. He took me off for the result, to be more defensive."

The striker was angry after being substituted during the Champions League win over Malmo on Wednesday night, pictured on the bench angrily throwing his jacket and water away.
