The last clue ahead of Dani Alves' move to Juventus

One of the biggest doubts about Dani Alves’ signing for Juventus was the fact that the Serie A champions' right-back position, until now, has had an owner: Stephan Lichtsteiner.

The Swiss full-back has been a regular in Massimiliano Allegri’s team as the Old Lady have won back-to-back Serie A titles under their manager - and before then under Antonio Conte, too. 

However, the message posted by Lichtsteiner on Instagram on Thursday suggests his time in Turin is at an end as Barcelona right-back nears his switch to Turin. 

“Greetings to all fans from Juventus and Switzelrand from Monte Tamaro. Many thanks for the emotions you have given me during the last five years. Five years and five league titles is not bad! A hug to everyone.”
