Pogba takes an important step towards potential summer transfer

It's not been necessary for his agent, Mino Raiola, to take the matter to a tribunal. Paul Pogba has managed to recover his image rights, which is very important when it comes to a possible transfer to another club.

When he was still at Le Havre, before signing for Manchester United, Pogba handed his image rights to a friend, Oualid Tanazefti, who owned a business in Luxembourg. After Pogba's growth, Raiola tried to recover the rights, but always got a negative response from Tanazefti.

Raiola threatened to take the case to a tribunal, but it didn't change anything. Pogba's agent, therefore, made it clear that any club wanting to sign Pogba would have to pay what Juventus wanted, the player's salary and 15 million euros to Tanazefti for the image rights.

In the end, according to L'Equipe, Pogba's old friend has agreed to sell the rights for 10 million euros. It's five million euros less than he initially wanted and now, if there is a transfer, the buying club will 'save' this money.

Among the clubs wanting to sign the French midfielder are Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City and FC Barcelona. Pogba has confessed that he's "always dreamed of playing for Barça" but he has also said he'd like to work with Pep Guardiola.
