OFFICIAL: Dani Alves signs contract and is now a Juventus player

It was already widely known, but it was not official until Monday afternoon: Dani Alves is a Juventus player.

One of the summer's 'shock' moves has been completed. After eight years at Barcelona, the Brazilian full-back has left for an 'adventure' in Italy.

Alves arrived in Turin on Sunday night and was acclaimed by Juve supporters on Monday when he turned up at the club to undergo a medical.

Afterwards, he signed his new contract, which is for two years, with the option of a third, and is worth 3.5 million euros net per year.

He's the Serie A champions second signing of the summer after they brought in Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
