Martin Montoya to leave Barcelona for Inter Milan on a two-year loan deal + option to buy

FC Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya will spend the next two seasons on loan at Inter Milan. The Italian club will have an option to buy him after those two seasons for eight million euros

Montoya has not entered into Luis Enrique's plans as often as he would have liked and his desire is to leave Camp Nou. Dani Alves' contract renewal and the signing of Aleix Vidal, who can't play until 2016, have reaffirmed those desires to leave.

He had previously asked to leave the club in January, but eventually ended up staying until the end of the season.

The deal is still awaiting Barça's confirmation, as there is no official board in place. However, as with Gerard Deulofeu's sale to Everton, that is unlikely to cause any problems.

It may mean, as it is a loan move, though, that the deal is not made official until July 18, when the new board is elected.

But it's evident that Montoya will leave the club. Both the player and his agent, who held talks with the club this week, are sure on that, while Luis Enrique is also happy to let him leave for Inter
