Marotta confirms that Juventus will sign Barcelona's Dani Alves

Dani Alves will become a Juventus players for the next three years in the coming days, as revealed by SPORT last week.

Juventus's general director, Beppe Marotta, confirmed in an interview with SkySports Italia that the signing of the right-back is nearly done. 

"I can confirm that talks with Dani Alves are going well and that we're satisifed about that," he said. He didn't want to officially announce the deal, of which the final details are currently being sorted, but everything is nearly complete. In Italy they believe the move could be announced on Tuesday.

Marotta also suggested Stephan Lichtsteiner will remain in Turin despite the signing of Alves: "He is an important player and he will continue at Juventus."

In addition, he also said that there are talks with Javier Mascherano. "We are talking about the Mascherano subject. But those negotiations, and the ones with Andre Gomes, are more complicated. For now, there's no news." 

He did not want to expand on that, but it seems the move for the Argentine has been slowed down by Barça's reluctance to let him leave Camp Nou.

Finally, he also confirmed Alvaro Morata's return to Real Madrid: "Real Madrid will exercise their right to re-sign him and he will return there. There's nothing else to be done on that matter."

Barça have already began to look for Alves' replacement, turning to Valencia's Joao Cancelo.
