Inter Milan want to send Martin Montoya back to Barcelona

Not picked since August 12, when he was part of the team that lost to Sassuolo in the TIM Trophy, Martin Montoya has become a hindrance to Inter Milan, and according to information in Italy, they intend to return him to FC Barcelona during the winter.

Barca and Inter signed a loan agreement for two seasons in the summer worth one million euros, with a buyout in June 2017 valued at seven million. Montoya joined the Italian club managed by Roberto Mancini after a Piero Ausilio decision, the Inter sporting director. According to sources close to him, he has traveled to Barcelona to discuss the termination of the loan of the Catalan player.

Montoya has not played a single official minute, after Santon returned to the club after his time in Newcastle. It is clear that the former Barcelona counts for nothing in Inter's plans. Mancini is looking for another right-back, speculation suggesting the names of Giulio Donati, a former Inter player today at Bayer Leverkusen, someone who Ausilio watched live at the Camp Nou, and Jacopo Sala, of Verona.

In total, in seven preseason games, Montoya has played 359 minutes with Inter, five starts and two substitute appearances, where he received criticism in Italy, where many media have suggested that the Catalan defender "doesn't have the minimum required level". Montoya made his debut on July 11 against Kickers and then took part in friendlies against Carpi, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Galatasaray, Athletic and Sassuolo. His return would be very commplicated. Luis Enrique has Alves, Douglas, Aleix Vidal and even Sergi Roberto as potential right-backs.
