Ibrahim Afellay has been offered to Champions League side Lazio

Ibrahim Afellay will not continue at Barcelona after his contract ran out at the club in June. While on loan at Olympiacos, he scored two goals in the Champions League, but his performances haven't caught the attention of Europe's biggest clubs.

A serious injury prevents Afellay from showing his quality once arriving at Barça, but will always be remembered by Barça's fans for his cross to Messi at the Santiago Bernabeu during the semi finals of the Champions League.

Currently, he finds himself without a club, but is interesting several clubs with regard to next season. According to Sportmediaset, the Netherlands international has been offered to Lazio, though the Italian club are yet to decide.

Pioli's side will play in the Champions League next season, which would be another good opportunity for Afellay to continue competing against the best players in the world.
