Italian media suggest that Bonucci will undergo his medical today
A few days ago it seemed crazy, an impossible dream on Milan’s part, but Leonardo Bonucci is closer and closer to joining the rossoneri. On Thursday afternoon, Milan and Juventus negotiated a €40 million transfer fee.
The surprising speed the transfer has happened at suggests that the relationship between Bonucci and Massimiliano Allegri had completely broken down. This morning, the Italian was at Juventus’ training ground to iron out the final details and say goodbye to his teammates.
Italian media are reporting that the player may even have his medical with Milan this afternoon in time to join the club’s pre-season tour to China.
