Barcelona's No.1 summer target is Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala

Barcelona can’t sign Nolito this winter, but they have already decided on their target for the summer: Paulo Dybala. Juventus’ Argentine striker, 22, is the new jewell of European football and he’s become the Serie A side’s biggest weapon, scoring 12 goals in the 20 league games he’s played in.

Robert Fernandez has been studying the player and believes he would fit perfectly in to Barça’s style due to his movement, pace, technical ability and because he can play anywhere across the front line. He would be the perfect accompaniment to Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Without going too far, Robert Fernandez has been in Turin recently watching the player.

Dybala was signed by Juve last summer. He came from Palermo where he had shown his great potential. The Turin side paid 32 million euros for his services and his impact has been almost instant. Dybala is right now the Golden Boy in Italy. The newspaper covers regularly feature him and his magical left foot.

He’s already spoken about his desire to play regularly alongside Messi in the national team. As well as sharing a nationality, Messi is the youngter’s idol. Transfermarkt claim he’s worth 36 million euros, but Juve would be looking at a sum closer to 60 million euros. Barça’s board feel 18 million euros on a 29-year-old Nolito is not a good investment, but have a different view when it comes to Dybala, even though he’d be much more expensive.

Barça have already initiated contact with Juve. In fact, the relationship between the two clubs is good due to the presence of Ariedo Braida and also due to the way the Paul Pogba negotiations were handled.
