The Bayern Munich president criticised the Polish forward

The striker wants Bayern to spend more money to improve the side

Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Bild that he was not happy with striker Robert Lewandowski, who criticised the club and said they should spend more money.

"I regret his comments," said Rummenigge. "Whoever criticises the coach, the club or his team-mates will have to take it up with me."

The Polish international striker did not think the 41.5m spent by Bayern this summer was enough and also was not happy with the pre-season tour.

Rummenigge said: "He should know that the club of his dreams, Real Madrid, spent 24 days in huge heat, double what we did."
