"If Real Madrid contact us, we will talk about Aubameyang..."

Borussia Dortmund's Hans-Joachim Watzke has suggested Real Madrid could sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, although he did warn the European champions it won't be easy for them to push the transfer through.

"If Real Madrid contact us, we will talk to them but the transfer operation will not be easy although Aubameyang's transfer won't be automatic," Dortmund CEO Watzke explained.

"We want him to stay with us. Contrary to the players who have left us in recent months, Aubameyang has a long-term contract which ties him to us until 2020.

"There is absolutely no pressure whatsoever and I don't get the impression that he is eager to leave."

Aubameyang, 27, has been linked with Madrid, as well as Manchester City and a string of other clubs, following his goal scoring form since his move to the Bundesliga from Saint-Etienne in 2013.

Since joining Dortmun he's scored 88 goals in just 151 appearances.
