Marco Reus out injured for months, ref regrets not sending off Marvin Bakalorz

Marco Reus is sidelined for months with injury after sustaining suspected ankle damage in Borussia Dortmund's clash with Paderborn.

Referee Wolfgang Stark says he should have sent Paderborn's Marvin Bakalorz off for his foul on Reus.

Bakalorz, who played for Dortmund for three years, injured the star during a 2-2 draw on Saturday.

Stark told Bild:  "The way I saw it during the game, Bakalorz slid in to get the ball and he made the slightest of contacts with it before then hitting Reus.

"For me, it was a foul and a yellow card. When I saw the replay afterwards, I was shocked and I've got to say that red would have been the right decision."
