Marco Reus' agent Volker Struth is having talks with Madrid and Barcelona

Marco Reus' agent Volker Struth has met with representatives from Real Madrid and will meet with FC Barcelona's sporting director Ariedo Braida next.

The purpose of Struth's meetings is to find out what the two clubs are willing to offer to acquire Reus' services.

According to reports in England, the German international has decided his time at Borussia Dortmund is up following the announcement that Jürgen Klopp will leave the club at the end of the season.

Reus has a contract until 2019, but Madrid's interest is still very much alive and Volker Struth has spoke with the European champions this past week.

However, aware of interest elsewhere, this does not mean the door is closed on alternative destinations.

Arsenal, Manchester City and PSG have also been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old, while Jose Mourinho and Louis van Gaal would also like to see him at Chelsea and Manchester United repsectively.

German champions Bayern Munich, who often sign the Budnesliga's best players, are also waiting on Reus' decision.

And Barça are also very much involved in the hunt to sign him as well.

However, given FIFA's transfer ban, they are in a weaker position that the others. How they would do a deal, with that in mind, will be the main subject of conversations between Volker Struth and Ariedo Braida.

Reus is expected to cost around €35million.
