Manuel Neuer will not play again until January
The German goalkeeper suffered a fractured left foot
On Tuesday he had an operation on the injury
The worst fears have been confirmed for Manuel Neuer, who suffered a fracture in his left foot and was operated on on Tuesday, and now will be unable to play until January.
The captain of the side was worked on by Dr. Ulrich Stöckle in Tübingen.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, vice president of Bayern said: "We lament the fact that Manuel Neuer has suffered another injury which hurts us terribly. The operation went perfectly and that's the most important thing for now. Now we look forward. Manuel will be with us again in January."
