James: I'm joining Bayern with high hopes

James Rodríguez, the Colombian midfielder who has joined Bayern Munich on loan for 2 seasons from Real Madrid, hopes to get his career back on track at the Bavarian club after a stop-start period with Real Madrid.

Speaking to Bayern TV, the Munich club’s TV channel, the Colombian said “I am happy, I am happy to be part of such a big club like this, a great team. The whole world has heard of Bayern and knows what this club represents”.

The Colombian acknowledged that he would have to adopt to “a new culture, a new club, a new idea” but added that he had “a lot of desire, a lot of dreams” and hopes to have a lot of success in Germany.

James will sign his contract with Bayern this Wednesday after undergoing the second part of his medical.
