Bojan Krkic makes history with Bundesliga goal
The striker scored the opening goal in Mainz's 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich
The La Masia product has now scored in all four of Europe's top leagues
Bojan Krkic has become the first Spanish footballer to score in Europe's four top leagues.
The striker from Linyola scored on Saturday afternoon against Bayern Munich, his first goal in the Bundesliga. He has previously scored in La Liga, Serie A and the Premier League. Mainz took the lead through Bojan in the third minute, with the game going on to end 2-2.
Bojan's record reads: 26 goals in 104 games in Spain's top flight with Barcelona; 10 more in Italy with Roma and Milan; and 14 in the Premier League with Stoke City.
In addition to those goals, Bojan also scored four goals during a spell in the Eredivisie with Ajax.
Formed in La Masia, Bojan joins a list of six other players from across the globe. Florin Raducioiu, Gica Popescu, Pierre Womé, Jon Dahl Tomasson, Obafemi Martins and Kevin-Prince Boateng have, like him, all found the net at least once for teams competing in the English, Spanish, Italian and German domestic leagues.
