If Bayern can't win it, Thiago hopes brother Rafinha can lift Champions League with Barça

Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara wants Barcelona to win the Champions League... if Bayern Munich are unable to win it themselves. 

Thiago, who swapped Barça for Bayern in 2013, is one of the German side's most in-form players. 

And speakint to 'Al Primer Toque' before the Champions League draw, he gave his opinion on the sides remaining in the competition. 

"The semi-finals will be really equal," he said. "The four best teams in the world are left." 

After hammering Porto, Thiago confessed that "it strengthened us to get to the last four with so many players missing, but we miss our injured players."

With repsect to meeting Barça, Thiago assured that "to play against Barça would be special, but any of the three teams will be difficult to play against." 

Finally, Thiago spoke about winning the Champions League, adding a nuance. 

"I am a Bayern player and I want to win (the competition), but if we cannot win it, then I hope my brother [Barcelona's Rafinha] can."
