The Spain U21 international will donate 50 pounds for every minute he plays

Spain could play a total of 450 minutes which would see a donation of over 20,000 pounds

Spain international Hector Bellerin, who plays for Arsenal, has showed his support for the victims of the fire at Grenfell Tower in London which has left more than 30 people dead, with more than 70 still unaccounted for.

Bellerin, a transfer target for Barcelona, is currently with Spain U21s at the European Championships and has announced that for every minute he plays at the tournament he will donate 50 pounds (57 euros) to the victims.

Through is Twitter accound on Saturday he confirmed that: "For every minute I play in #U21EURO I'll donate £50 to help Grenfell Tower victims. Please support in any way"

Bellerin has played for Spain at senior level but is a regular for the U21 side. They have group games against Macedonia, Portugal and Serbia and if they progress would then play a semifinal and a final.

Therefore, if Spain reach the final and Bellerin plays every minute, he would have played 450 minutes in total. In that scenario, the right-back would donate 22,500 pounds to the victims of the tragedy (around 25,650 euros).
