Club president Reinhard Rauball revealed the good news

The defender was taken to hospital on Tuesday night after the explosion

The message could not have been more calming. Reinhard Rauball, Borussia Dortmund president, confirmed on Wednesday that Marc Bartra's wrist was successfully operated on.

"We've been informed that everything went successfull," he told N-TV after Dortmund's Champions League game against Monaco was postponed due to an explosion going off near the team bus

Bartra's father added: "We spoke after the operation. He told us he's OK. Later the doctors explained that it was a clean break, that there was nothing inside the arm and that he'd been in hospital for a couple of days."

The former Barcelona player was the only Dortmund player to suffer injuries on Tuesday when an explosion went off near the bus.

He was taken to hospital but luckily he has not suffered any serious injuries.
