Ingla used to work for Barcelona and spoke about why the two didn't work together on the pitch

Marc Ingla, who was Barcelona's vice president of marketing and media, spoke to Telefoot on Sunday.

He is now working for Lille and in the interview, as well as talking about his current club, he also spoke about Barça and Lionel Messi.

"I think he will renew," he said of the Argentine. "He's really happy at Barça and I think he will end his career in Catalonia. He's not an expressive person, but he's happy."

Ingla also spoke about Zlatan Ibrahimovic's time at Barça: "Why did he not get on there? He's a beast, a machine. But he was next to another machine, a smaller one [laughs]. He was too static and Messi perhaps needed more space. Zlatan occupied too much. There was a little friction, I think."

On Lille, he said: "I'm passionate about football. Barcelona is really good, impressive... at Lille I have the sensation it's all more real, though. You're closer to the players, the club."
