Xavi backed the vote over the Catalan independence referendum

Former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez sent a message of solidarity to Catalans who are participating in the referendum organised in Catalonia. Xavi was angry to see the police displays of force to prevent people voting at schools and colleges.
"What is happening today in Catalonia is a disgrace," said Xavi in a video. "It's unacceptable that in a democratic country people cannot vote. All my support to the people who are peacefully trying to exercise their right to vote. Visca Catalonia."
