Xavi: Luis Enrique's a perfectionist, really methodical & a good leader

Xavi Hernandez, speaking from his new home in Doha predicts Barcelona can win the treble again this season. The Catalan midfielder helped achieve the feat last season and is now backing them to go on and do it again. Speaking at an event for 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he also spoke about Pep Guardiola and Louis van Gaal:

On Barcelona: They have a team to achieve [the treble]. They've got a magnificent manager in Luis Enrique. He is a perfectionist, really methodical and a good leader. And Barça, right now, can also enjoy having the best footballers in the world. From my heart I hope they can repeat the Chamions League success and achieve everything they want to. It will be difficult, though.

On Pep Guardiola: For my career, Pep has been a reference in all senses. We practically speak the same football language because we were created in the same house and we understand the same way of playing. For me he’s one of the best managers in the world.

He is doing a good job, a really good job [at Bayern Munich]. Every year they are favourites to win the Champions League with Barça and Real Madrid, Europe’s greatest sides. They’ve strengthened well with Arturo Vidal and Douglas Costa in addition to what they had.

On Louis van Gaal: With time I think he will do a really, really good job with Manchester United, he's already doing [well]. He’s taken them into the Champions League and they’re going to be tough opposition in the Premier League and in Europe. Van Gaal in an incredible, fantastic manager.
