Xavi Hernandez refuses to be downbeat after Barcelona lose Clasico

Xavi Hernandez was not too dejected after Barcelona were beaten by Real Madrid and insisted that everyone believes in the work they are doing under the orders of Luis Enrique.

"We have tried to keep an eye out for the counter-attacks, but that is where Madrid hit us," the midfielder, who started the game, said.

"The second especially, conceding from our own corner.

"We played well in the first half, dominating and creating chances, but in the second half we weren't as good.

Xavi described the third goal as "poor".

"In the Bernabeu, when you make mistakes like that, you are made to pay," he concluded.
