Xavi Hernandez denounces a campaign against Barcelona

Former Barça captain Xavi Hernandez criticised the campaign against the Catalan club in the wake of the problems it currently faces in court.

In a long interview with 'ElNacional.cat', the 36-year-old spoke about numerous topics related to the Blaugrana and his career, but also touched on the conflicts that Lionel Messi and Neymar face with the Spanish Justice system.

"I think [Messi and Neymar] can affect their judicial processes in which they're immersed, as they don't let you stay quiet," Xavi began.

"But many things happen at Barça. When the team is playing bad no one talks about the problems, doping or judgements.

"I've noticed now, from the outside, that when things are going well, there's always a spoke put in the wheel.

"I don't say that justice is not right but the timing is when Barça is performing good.

"And this surprises me because we spent four years without winning anything and nobody came after us."
