Xavi and Sergio Garcia present the Catalan Supercup trophy ahead of Barça v Espanyol
Barcelona and Espanyol captains, Xavi Hernandez and Sergio Garcia, presented the Catalan Super Cup together.
The game will be held in Girona at the Estadi Montilivi on Wednesday October 29, at 21.30.
Xavi says that the Supercup is "an attractive game". He explained: "It's a derby, a final, and we always like to play and win."
Despite the rivalry between the two sides, Xavi expects "a good show, fair play and for everyone to enjoy this festival of Catalan football."
There has been speculation about this game and how motivated the players will be. Xavi cleared the doubts, saying "whoever plays will play, and they will be motivated".
Sergio Garcia was also looking forward to the match.
"For us it's an important game, the club is the closest rival and it's a derby, so we go with everything and try to prepare in the best way we can to win."
Tickets can be purchased from the Federacio Catalana or at the box office at Girona's stadium. Prices range from 15 to 35 euros and members of Girona get a discount.
