Who were Sergio Busquets' football idols?

Sergio Busquets has revealed who the footballers were he focused on when he was developing into the midfielder he is today.

The Spain international was speaking at a Nike store in Barcelona to a group of fans about his life, both professionally and privately. 

In one of the most interesting parts of the chat, Busquets was asked by one of the young fans president who were the players he idolised when he was younger.

Busquets responded: “I didn’t have a clear idol, but I focused on players who I had tactical similarities with. 

“I looked at players like Patrick Vieira, later Xavi [Hernandez] and then Yaya Toure. I learned a lot from him [Toure].”
