The midfielder's fitness is causing concern after the pictures of him taken on holiday
Barça are trying to sell the player but none of the offers received so far have been acceptable to both parties
Arda Turan's future remains up in the air just under a week before FC Barcelona's preseason starts. The club and the Turkish international have a lot of work ahead of them, both off the pitch and on the training ground.
This is due to the lack of action in the transfer market so far as well as the pictures of Arda Turan on holiday that went viral on social media last week. That picture was in sharp contrast to the one taken on 13 July 2015 when he signed for Barça and passed the pre-season tests.
It may be the case that between 29 June, when the picture was taken, and now Arda Turan has started his physical preparation for the start of the Valverde era. However, there will obviously be doubts until the player is back in action.
In recent weeks, Arda Turan has been linked with several suitors. The Chinese Superleague, Besiktas, Arsenal and Inter Milan have been linked with the Turkish international in recent weeks.
