What Luis Suarez said to Sandro about his wild celebration

The Uruguayan forward was not happy with the former Barcelona man during the game

Sandro apologised in the mixed zone in case he upset anybody at La Masia

Saturday was a dismal night for Barcelona. Defeat, red card for Neymar and to make things worse, a former Barcelona player was the executioner. Sandro Ramirez scored Malaga’s opening goal and celebrated it to boot.

While Munir did not celebrate his goal against Barcelona, Sandro did, going wild. The fact Sandro celebrated so much did not please Luis Suarez, and that’s exactly what he told him as the players headed in at half-time. On route to the dressing room he went over the Canarian player and said something in his ear.

As the Malaga forward said after the game, Suarez came across and told him “Never forget who fed you”.

Far from wanting to create more controversy, Sandro said in the mixed zone that he didn’t want to offend anyone with his celebration. “I ask forgiveness if this has happened,” he said. “I ask forgiveness, not to Barcelona’s fans but the people at La Masia, who have given me everything.”
