What Luis Enrique told Barcelona stars ahead of Celta Vigo clash

El entrenador del Barcelona, Luis Enrique, se reunió este sábado antes del entrenamiento matinal durante veinte minutos con sus jugadores para avisarles del peligro del Celta

Luis Enrique has not forgotten the 4-1 defeat at Balaidos last season, nor the errors that cost his team goals against, in the matches vs Atletico at Camp Nou and Borussia Monchengladbach in Germany.

On Saturday Lucho took the bull by the horns and met his team in a 20 minute session before the scheduled training. This is nothing exceptional, there's always a video and strategy section before a game, but this had an added element, with Luis Enrique pointing out various aspects. Usually it's Juan Carlos Unzue and Robert Moreno who make the comments.

Luis Enrique insisted in an almost-nagging way that the clash on Sunday is "one of the most dangerous of the season", as much for the quality of opponent as the position Barcelona are in the table, one point behind Madrid, as well as the upcoming international break - it would be good for the group to leave with a nice taste in the mouth.

The challenge will not be easy. Celta are a tricky opponent for Lucho. In his first year they won 1-0 at Camp Nou, in the second, they romped past Barcelona at home. Enrique's obsession is to avoid losing balls in key areas. He says any error will pay a high price against Celtic. "This is how they killed us last year," he explained to the squad.

There's no doubt the players are more than warned. Now to see if they apply the coach's messages with success on Sunday night.
