Barça want a right-back but their first option remains Hector Bellerin

It's that time of the year when rumours are rife over signings, so the presence of Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker in Barcelona was always going to provoke conversation.

Walker's a player with the qualities Barça are currently looking for in their search for a right-back. He has sufficient experience (he's 27 and played in the Premier League for several years), power and pace. His contract is up in 2019, so his price is constantly reducing as we move close to that date.

So far in the transfer window he's been strongly linked with a move to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, who are also keen on Dani Alves.

SPORT got in touch with Barça's sporting director Robert Fernandez upon learning of Walker's stay in Catalonia. Robert recognised that Walker's a great player who is the type of player the club are looking for, but completely ruled out any intention of making a move for or contacting the Spurs man.

The player is just taking advantage of his time off to enjoy the pleasures of Catalonia. And as the photograph shows, he made some memories on Monday at the Illa Fantasia water park in Vilassar de Dalt.
