What does a Lionel Messi goal taste like?

What does a Lionel Messi goal taste like?

A few years ago at the beginning of this decade the Roca brothers, always innovating, premiered a new dish. Its author was Jordi, the baker in the family. They had always thought it would be good, as Barcelona fans, to have a dish dedicated to Lionel Messi.

The "Gol de Messi" is a dessert with ingredients like mint, lemon, orange, caramel, eucalyptus and a scent of grass. It is combined with a pair of meringues, so as not to forget Barcelona's eternal rival, Real Madrid, who Messi "beats" on the way to scoring.

The desert was liked but didn't last long on the Celler de Can Roca menu. The brothers explained that not all customers going to the restaurant support Barcelona so removed it from the menu, though they still provide it if asked for.

In Argentina it has been reinvented, with the meringues swapped for typical Brazilian fruits, as those countries have a rivalry.
