Watch Neymar's magic touch with a Sporting Gijon fan at El Molinon...

Neymar enjoyed a well-rounded afternoon in Gijon, in a sporting sense but also personally. During the game, the Brazilian star scored twice and only the woodwork denied him a hat-trick late on. 

However, the biggest detail came after the final whistle at Sporting’s El Molinon home. After shaking hands with the opposition players — he was especially affectionate with Douglas — Neymar headed to the other side of the pitch to seek out a fan who suffers from Down Syndrome. 

Once there, he embraced the fan and gave him his shirt, provoking a huge amount of excitement for the Sporting follower. He will not have any special memories of the game, given Barça’a 5-0 win, but Neymar’s human touch is something he will never forget. 

In addition to Ney, Gerard Pique also made a nice gesture, stopping for several photos which the home supporters were requesting as he left the pitch.
