Was Marc Bartra bidding Camp Nou goodbye last night?
Marc Bartra's future is uncertain. The defender went through the season without getting many chances. On Monday he was the last player to leave the grass at Camp Nou, during Barcelona's double celebration party. After the lap of honour, the players and their children stayed on the pitch for a while, then began to filter away. First Mascherano, then Pique and after him Neymar. Slowly the pitch emptied.
The last two to go were Bartra and Sergi Roberto. The defender took some photos with his friends, who posed with the titles won this season. Meanwhile Sergi Roberto was speaking with some Barca TV journalists, accompanied by his parents.
Eventually, with fans having left the stands, and the pitch starting to be cleaned of confetti, Bartra and Sergi Roberto left. First the Reus born midfielder, then Bartra. With some of his nearest and dearest by his side, and some others in the stands chanting his name, the No 15 went down the tunnel in what was a nice farewell scene. Was it the last time he will be seen at Camp Nou in a Barcelona shirt?
