Victor Valdes returns to Barcelona with his future in the air

The future of Victor Valdes remains uncertain. The goalkeeper may not be signed by Manchester United, according to rumours reported by Catalunya Radio.

The station said that Valdes has returned to Barcelona to continue his recovery, after finishing training with Louis van Gaal's Manchester United. 

However, others believe he was here to see family and will return to Manchester.

Either way, Valdes will continue working, first to fix his knee and then to find a team who will bet on him. 

There has been a lot of speculation about teams that want him but that has all died down now, so trying to guess what the future holds for Valdes is difficult. 

It is possible that he will not find a club until next summer.
