The PSG midfielder wants to know the consequences of any moves he makes

Barça want to sign him this summer and he wants to make the move to Camp Nou

Marco Verratti is on holiday in Ibiza but his agent Donato Di Campli continues to work on his future. A future which the Italian midfielder hopes will bring a transfer to Barcelona, even if he has to force it through.

L'Equipe report that, with that in mind, Verratti is in talks with his lawyers to know first hand what optins he has to force an exit from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

PSG, led by president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, have rejected any attempt Barça have made to open talks and have told the player he's still in their plans and cannot leave the Parc des Princes -- his contract runs until 2021.

Verratti and Di Campli have made various moves and are studying the following with their lawyers: what the consequences would be if the player did not return for pre-season training under Unai Emery on July 4.

The midfielder has told the PSG hierarchy his feelings: that his time at PSG has come to an end after five years (he arrived from Pescara for 12 million euros in 2012) and the painful Champions League exit at Camp Nou.

At 24, Marco wants to play with Leo Messi and the rest of Barcelona's stars to continue growing as a player. The praise from a Blaugrana ledgend, Xavi Hernandez, have only increased that desire.

The problem is PSG are not a selling club and will make things difficult. For that reason, Verratti will have to work hard to force a move. So hard that he could even be declared a rebel is he does not turn up for pre-season training and is fined by his club.

Hence, why he is seeking maximum legal security while also waiting for Barça to make an offer (around the amount of 80 million euros) that is attractive to PSG.
