Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde spoke on Wednesday about the progression of Jose Arnaiz, the B team forward that has scored four goals this season.
As SPORT revealed this week, Arnaiz could be handed a chance in the first team when Barça play Real Murcia in the Copa del Rey next week.
Asked about the youngster's form, Valverde said: "He is a young player with pace, confidence, goals. He has an important season ahead of him…
"We always have an eye on the B team’s games and he’s started the season well and has many games ahead of him."
On his Arnaiz's first team chances, the Barça coach added: "He’s another possibility, but I would like to focus on my team. But the B team is also a part of my team, so we will see. It's a long season and we will see what needs we have."
