Valverde: Let's see if Messi can get to 200 goals in Europe this season

Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is still enjoying a wonderful honeymoon with his team at the start of the season. They have 10 wins and a draw in La Liga and the Champions League so far in his first 100 days.
"100 days as a coach? I'm satisfied, but we know football is capricious. At Barcelona you go through all type of extremes. You have to be conscious that everything depends on if the ball goes in. You have to take situations calmly. In August everything was a horror and look now."
Told Leo Messi had scored his 100th European goal on Wednesday night, Valverde said: "Well let's hope he continues and see if he can score his 200th this season. Although that would be a bit difficult it's clear that he's breaking all the barriers."
On Pique's red card: "It was a more instinctive hand than anything else."
On Catalonia: "Barcelona represents a lot of people who have their opinion and obviously I have mine. The flag which unites all of us is that of Barcelona. The stadium is a place people can express themselves how they like but first of all the people want to see their team win."
