Valverde defends Luis Suarez, who's at risk of missing Copa final
The Barça coach says the forward's aggression is a plus
The Uruguayan would miss a potential final if he's booked
Barcelona coach says he's not worrying about losing Luis Suarez for the Copa del Rey final, with his side in action against Valencia in the semifinal second leg on Thursday.
Suarez missed last season's final though suspension and will miss this year's, too, if he is booked at Mestalla.
"The odd time I have spoken with Luis Suarez about his character," Valverde said. "The aggression he has in attack, with how he looks for space and goals, is good for us, even if sometimes it can lead to a booking or something.
"But now we’ve got a semifinal to play. Suarez is experienced and he knows how to look after himself. We’re going to give everything to win. We will worry about the future later."
Barça travel to Valencia with a 1-0 lead from the first leg thanks to Suarez's goal, which came after good work from Lionel Messi on the left.
